We sell our software product as part of a bundled
solution which includes the Decision Excellence® consulting and
training methodology and other integration services. The first
implementation at a client usually consists of a server-based solution,
configured with a single application, for use by one department or
business unit within a corporation. Rollout can then be extended
to include other applications and/or to replicate the process across
other departments, business units and at the corporate level, particularly
as managers become internal advocates of the benefits of the solution.
The GenSight® software architecture permits
sharing of information across applications as well as departments
and business units, therefore, as adoption increases the value
of the overall system grows exponentially, which further encourages
adoption and ultimately enterprise-wide adoption.
The GenSight® software architecture includes:
application server software, a Windows-based software application
and an enterprise-wide pure-browser web application. The Windows
application can operate in either standalone or client-server
mode. We structure our software license fees on a per-user, per-application
basis, plus the consulting and training portion of the implementation,
and an annual maintenance and support fee.
APPLICATION CONFIGURATION
Prior to installation the GenSight® software is
configured to meet client-specific requirements, including the
development of the portfolio architecture, scorecard and decision criteria
drawn from the process design phase for the application. We also equip
clients with a software configuration toolkit that enables in-house
support and modification of the configuration as business needs evolve
or the organization structure changes.
DECISION EXCELLENCE®
Decision Excellence® is a comprehensive
decision management process that provides management teams with a
systematic approach to strategic choice and resource allocation..
The methodology enables the structured definition of portfolios that
include a broad array of business elements such as projects, strategies,
products, processes, markets or competitors. The methodology codifies
and synthesizes disparate pieces of information to facilitate analysis,
data mining, visualization, decision-making and ultimately optimization
of each portfolio against multi-dimensional constraints.
ADOPTION MANAGEMENT
To ensure that the GenSight® solution is
properly understood, employed and delivers measurable business
benefits, we make sure that users are educated, trained and committed
to the adoption of the solution. Adoption management includes
defining business objectives and expected outcomes, obtaining
senior sponsorship, identifying enabling processes, communication
strategy and delivery of training and train-the-trainer programs.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
The GenSight® software has been designed to permit
seamless integration with a range of corporate enterprise software,
including ERP and legacy systems. The Company works closely with customer
IT departments to ensure a smooth integration with the customer’s
systems infrastructure, including security / authentication processes,
portals and third-party software systems.
