GenSight® Web enables an entire organization to easily collect, create, share and maintain all information related to all portfolios in the enterprise.
GENSIGHT® WEB FEATURES
|
|
Portfolio Data Management |
Data for all projects and other elements in the portfolio are stored and managed centrally in a relational database. GenSight® automatically generates and maintains web pages for every portfolio element (e.g. including projects, markets, strategies etc.) in the system in order to provide convenient access to all relevant database content. |
Intelligent Forms (iForms) |
iForms are used to collect information from users. The system automatically adapts the format and structure depending on the stage or type of each portfolio element. iForms are particularly useful because they streamline the portfolio management process and collect most information on the more complex or important portfolio elements. |
Searching and Reporting |
The system supports sophisticated searching/filtering and reporting on portfolio elements. Users can establish personal stores of frequently used filters and subsets of portfolio elements such as “My Projects.” |
Role-based Views and Permissions
|
GenSight® incorporates a configurable security model including user profile and organization structure. The login process is integrated with Microsoft’s Active Directory for single sign-on deployment. |
Workflow Management |
The system provides data driven process automation. This includes status triggers, data monitors, email alerts and configurable workflow rules for information gathering and dissemination, electronic approval and progress monitoring. |
Document Management |
GenSight® supports linking and embedding of documents. This enables users to create, edit and share documents (such as Microsoft Word, Excel etc.) that are centrally stored and linked to portfolio elements for convenient tracking and access. |
